A Sunset Beach Wedding at Sharky's in Venice

Love has a funny way of finding us, often in the most unexpected places. For Juliet and Oscar, their journey began in a rather unconventional setting - a hotel bar by the airport. Little did they know that this chance encounter would blossom into a beautiful love story, culminating in a breathtaking micro-wedding on the shores of Venice, FL.

When we asked how they met, Julie bursted out laughing, "In a bar LOL, I was the bartender at a bar in a hotel by the airport, and Oscar was staying at the hotel. He had just moved to Florida. After 5 days or so of seeing him for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and talking to him, I invited him out for lunch!," Juliet reminisced lovingly.

Fast forward to the day that marked the beginning of their forever, January 13th, 2024 - the couple exchanged vows during sunset at the beach at Fins at Sharkys, a picturesque venue on the sandy shores of Venice. The decision to have their wedding on the beach at sunset reflected the romantic essence of their love story, which could easily be turned into a Hallmark movie!

Their micro-wedding, attended by approximately 15 close friends and family, exuded an air of intimacy and emotion. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting warm hues across the sky, Juliet walked down the aisle, stunningly in white with her tiara placed perfectly. The sound of waves crashing against the shore provided a natural and serene backdrop to the beautiful wedding.

Getting Married?

What made this wedding truly special was the genuine emotion that filled the air. Oscar, unable to contain his joy and love for Juliet, couldn't hold back tears the moment he saw her walking towards him. It was a raw and authentic display of the deep connection they shared, capturing the hearts of everyone present.

The micro-wedding allowed for a more personal and close-knit celebration, where each guest played a significant role in the couple's journey. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, tears of joy, and tight hugs that spoke volumes about the love Juliet and Oscar shared.

Fins at Sharkys proved to be the perfect setting for Juliet and Oscar's union, offering not only a stunning backdrop for their ceremony but also a cozy space for an intimate celebration with their nearest and dearest immediately following in a private and secluded room.

As the night unfolded, the newlyweds laughed under the stars, surrounded by the love and warmth of those who had been a part of their unique love story. Juliet and Oscar's micro-wedding was not just an event; it was a testament to the power of love found in unexpected places, celebrated in the most intimate and heartfelt way possible.
