Aisha and Lorenzo's Wedding Reception at Florida Beach Banquets

When Aisha and Lorenzo decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted a unique and memorable celebration, so they chose to have a destination wedding in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida. Aisha, Lorenzo, and most of their guests traveled to Florida from Indiana!

On the big day, Aisha and Lorenzo exchanged vows on the sandy beaches of Saint Pete Beach, surrounded by palm trees and the crystal-clear Gulf of Mexico. The ceremony was intimate and personal, with the couple writing their own vows.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to a stunning wedding banquet hall. Their reception venue, Florida Beach Banquets, was decorated with a coastal theme, complete with colorful floral centerpieces, light blue sashes, blush tones, and string lights.

As the sun set over the city, Aisha and Lorenzo shared their first dance as husband and wife, followed by heartfelt speeches from their family and friends. The evening was filled with laughter, tears, and plenty of dancing as the couple and their guests celebrated their love.

One our favorite highlights of the evening was the traditional bouquet toss and garter toss. Aisha, looking stunning in her flowing white dress, took center stage as all of the single ladies gathered around her. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and tossed the bouquet over her head. There was a moment of chaos as the women scrambled to catch the bouquet, but it was one family member who took a huge dive that emerged victorious! Next up was the garter toss, with Lorenzo taking the lead. As he removed the garter from his bride's leg, the single men in attendance gathered around him. With a playful grin, Lorenzo tossed the garter high into the air, and it was caught by one of his family members.

Other highlights of their special day were their delicious menu, which featured a variety of dishes and local specialties. The couple also treated their guests to a stunning three-tiered wedding cake created by Chantilly Cakes which was adorned with fondant tropical flowers and topped with customized wedding topper with their last name and wedding date.

As the night came to a close, Aisha and Lorenzo were surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends, making for a truly unforgettable destination wedding in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg.
