The soft, golden light of a Florida sunset sets the scene for truly magical moments, and that's exactly what we had the pleasure of capturing during Jade and Nathan's maternity session at Anna Maria Island. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the sky turned light shades of pink and orange, creating the perfect backdrop for this couple's stunning portraits.
Jade and Nathan, who celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in January, were so excited to capture this special moment in their lives. At 32 weeks pregnant, Jade was glowing, and Nathan was beaming with joy and endearment.
We started the session with some simple poses, capturing the couple's love and excitement for their upcoming arrival. As the sun began to set, we moved towards the water's edge, where we captured some truly breathtaking shots of the couple walking hand in hand along the beach.
During their maternity session at Anna Maria Island, Jade wore flowing white gowns that perfectly accentuated her growing belly, which she paired with beautiful flower crowns with blue accents and blue nail polish, symbolizing the baby boy that she and Nathan are expecting. Nathan looked dapper in a casual button-up shirt paired with muted blue shorts. The blue touches added a special touch to the photos, and served as a reminder of the little bundle of joy that they can't wait to meet. They both looked so in love and happy to be sharing this moment together.
We finished the session with Jade splashing in the waves and enjoying the water. She was radiant, carefree and happy, which made for some truly joyful and heartwarming images.
